Drive to Lake Manyara National Park Lake. Manyara is a small breathtaking National Park with an immense natural richness – home of over 480 bird species, including the thousands of flamingos that shade the soda waters of the lake, pink pelicans, and the famous tree-climbing lions, which for reasons unknown sleep in the branches of African Acacia Trees.
Elephants, giraffes, Buffalo, and Wildebeest can be found in unexpected clearings in the woodlands or heading toward water sources to drink or wash. The rivers and riverbeds provide scenic views for wildlife watching. Warthog seems to thrive here, growing notably fat and tusk-erred, and it is a natural playground for Baboons and Monkeys. Dinner and overnight campsite.
