5 DAYS LAKE MANYARA-NGORONGORO-SERENGETI BEST OF TANZANIA

Depart at Arusha city to with lunch on Lake Manyara National Park. Waterbirds gather around the lake and they are over 400 bird species found in this park. Its vegetation provides a good habitant too many animals like the monkeys, antelopes, giraffes, grassland elephants, which leave around the acacia
trees. You will also get a chance to view the Manyara lions around the trees. In the afternoon, leave Lake Manyara and head to the booked campsite, dinner, and overnight at the camp.

After breakfast, taking a picnic lunch with you, descend 200ft (670m) into the crater. A full-day crater tour with a break for lunch at Ngoitoktok spring’s picnic site. The crater is 164km and contains a constant animal population of varied species. Black manned lions, rhinos, buffaloes, and other grazing animals as made crater permanent home. After the game drive and taking photos, we proceed to our campsite for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we head towards the Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.
We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy ourselves. Afternoon game drive and overnight at campsite.

with game viewing in Serengeti and around Ndutu woodlands to locate leopards and numerous plains games as well as cheetahs, common species here. Dinner overnight at campsite.

In the afternoon we will follow the Kopjes Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attract a number of lions and some formidably large cobras. Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. This makes the kopjes particularly good for spotting wildlife in the dry seasons – including lions, which like to lie in wait for animals coming to drink! Then we leave Serengeti to Arusha. The safari ends.
