Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel in the morning drive to Amboseli national park which is less than 5 Hrs drive and is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. Arrive with more game drive proceeding to your lodge for check in, time for lunch , Check in at OlTukai lodge have lunch and a short rest. Afternoon game drive in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro.
Day 2: Full Day Amboseli National Park
Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Lake Manyara National Park
Take breakfast then drive into Tanzania via the Namanga border. We also pass through Arusha for lunch and proceed to Lake Manyara National park with Regardless of the direction we approach Manyara from, the view is always fantastic.
Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti National park
The drive to Serengeti National Park via Oldupai Gorge takes 3 to 4 hours. Olduvai Gorge is an archaeological site located in the eastern Serengeti plains, in which early human fossils were first discovered. It has an amazing landscape that resulted from the same tectonic forces that created the Great Rift Valley millions of years ago.
Day 5 & 6: Full Day Serengeti National Park
Morning and afternoon game drive in the Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge or campsite in the mid afternoon .The term ‘serengeti’ means endless plains in maasai language. In the central plains there are carnivores like, leopards, hyena and cheetah. This park is normally the scene of the annual migration of the wildebeest and zebras, which occurs between Serengeti and kenya’s maasai mara game reserve. Eagles, Flamingos, duck, geese, vultures are among the birds that can be seen in the park
Day 7: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast and final game drive in Serengeti – we will pack and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with lunches enroute. Ngorongoro crater is one of the seven wonders in Africa.
Day 8: Full Day Ngorongoro Crater
Morning hike in the Southern Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the elephant cave and waterfall. In the afternoon visiting the Iraqw tribe cultural centre in Karatu to learn how the tribe protected their cattle from Masai incursions using underground settlements.
Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Take an early breakfast then drive to Arusha town for lunch then board an afternoon shutle bus to Nairobi departing at 1400 hrs – drop off at the airport to board your home bound flight
