5 DAYS MOUNT KENYA TREK SIRIMON DOWN CHOGORIA
Day 1: Nairobi – Sirimon gate- Old Moses camp. ( 3,300m) 3-4 hrs, 9km, 680 ascents.
After breakfast, drive to Nanyuki town for lunch crossing the equator en route to the Sirimon Park gate (2660m). We trek up through the magnificent montane forest, bamboo, and giant heather zone from the gate before reaching the high-altitude moorland and our first hut (Old Moses camp 3,300m) for dinner and overnight. This is a gentle trek that takes 3 – 4 hrs gaining an elevation of 680m.

5 Days Mt. Kenya Trekking Naru-Moru Route
Day 1: Nairobi-Naro-Moru
After pick up in Nairobi drive to the Naru Moru park gate for lunch. From the gate, we trek up through magnificent mountain forest, bamboo, and giant heather zone before reaching the high altitude moorland and our first cabins drive to the Youth Hostels for dinner and overnight.
This is a gentle trek that takes 3 - 4 hrs gaining an elevation of 600m.
5 Days Mt. Kenya Trekking Route Chogoria
Day 1:NAIROBI-BANDAS
Depart from Nairobi at 0800hrs, driving through agricultural country up to Chogoria town for lunch. After lunch, we take 4×4 and drive up to the edge of the bamboo forest where we start our trekking through the dense bamboo forest for a distance of 10 km to the Mt Kenya Bandas.Dinner and overnight at the camp.
5 Days Mt. Kenya Trekking Sirimon Route
Day 1: Nairobi-Nanyuki
Leave Nairobi at 8.00 am to Nanyuki, which normally takes 4hrs drive, arriving at 12.00, then proceed to Mt Kenya National Park Sirimon gate, picnic lunch will be provided. After lunch, follow the track uphill for 10 kilometers, forking left at the junction to reach Old Moses camp which is situated at 3,300m. The ascent from Sirimon gate. Dinner/overnight at the budget hotel.
